Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual (Spanish) licensed mental health counselor with more than 25 years of experience helping adults and couples. My career began in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I earned my PhD and worked as a licensed psychologist. After moving to the US, I completed a Master’s in mental health counseling at the University of Miami and became licensed to practice in Connecticut.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is person-centered, culturally sensitive, and grounded in humanistic principles. This means that I see you as a unique individual with inherent worth and potential for growth. I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which are evidence-based treatments. Additionally, I have extensive training in Family systems therapy.

What you can expect from me

I understand that struggling with anxiety, depression, and stress can be a difficult and overwhelming experience. My goal is to provide a warm, empathetic, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel safe exploring your needs, struggles, and goals. We will work collaboratively to develop personalized strategies for managing difficult emotions and behaviors, improving your relationships, and achieving personal growth, self-awareness, and well-being.
