Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Alexis, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in North Texas, with 4 years of experience in social work, specifically in pediatrics. I have worked in case management and crisis intervention with children and adolescents. I obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor degree in Psychology from Capella University. I have gained valuable expertise working in pediatric and behavioral health hospital settings in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I obtained my Licensed Master Social Work (LMSW) in the Spring of 2022. I earned my Clinical Social Work License in the winter of 2025 and consider myself to be a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have been practicing child-centered play therapy for one year under supervision and have seen the transformative power of play. In my free time, I commit my time to the local community by volunteering with initiatives such as Cowtown Clean-up, Tarrant Area Food Bank, and Catholic Charities Diocese of Fort Worth, Texas. My approach to therapy

I am dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for children with a passion for the transformative power of play. I am looking forward to integrating this approach into play therapy to enhance engagement and outcomes for children ages 3 to 10.

What you can expect from me

I am committed to working collaboratively with families to address challenges, provide effective solutions, and empower parents with the tools and knowledge needed to support their children’s emotional and mental well-being. I believe play is a child's natural language, and I look forward to utilizing it as a tool for helping children to build confidence, self-esteem, and develop coping skills; all while focusing on a child-centered approach. My overall goal is to ensure that each child is provided with a positive experience that leads to growth and healing.
