Alexis earned her Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Sociology from the State University of New York at Brockport in 2012. She went on to complete her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at SUNY Brockport in 2020. In 2025, Alexis obtained her licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in New York State and is also recognized as a Nationally Certified Counselor.

My approach to therapy

Alexis is a compassionate and dedicated therapist committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and build meaningful, fulfilling lives. She specializes in working with clients experiencing autism spectrum and related disorders, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, anger management, spirituality, and life transitions.

Alexis takes an eclectic, client-centered approach that emphasizes collaboration and individualized care. Her work is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA), and trauma-informed care, including Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT).
