Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who brings six years of experience working in the mental health field, including providing services through Comprehensive Community Services (CCS). That experience gave me the opportunity to work with people through complex mental health challenges—not just talk about change, but help people figure out how to make it work in their actual lives. It shaped me into a therapist who is flexible, practical, and interested in understanding the whole person rather than reducing someone to a diagnosis.

I work with teens and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship patterns, boundaries, self-esteem, and life transitions. I’m especially drawn to the work that happens beneath the surface: understanding why certain situations hit so hard, where patterns came from, and how to respond differently instead of continuing to repeat them.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, conversational, direct, and engaged. I won’t spend the hour silently nodding and asking, “How does that make you feel?” I’ll ask questions, point out patterns, offer perspective, teach practical strategies, and respectfully challenge you when I think there’s an opportunity for growth. There’s room for hard conversations here—but also humor, personality, and being a real human.

I draw from trauma-informed care, DBT, CBT, strengths-based, and person-centered approaches, but I’m less interested in fitting you into a therapy model than finding what actually works for you.

What you can expect from me

You don’t have to show up as the polished version of yourself, have a breakthrough every week, complete every exercise perfectly, or even know what you want to talk about that day. Some sessions may involve deeper work. Other weeks, we might be figuring out how you're getting through Tuesday. Both belong in therapy.

My goal is for you to leave therapy with something you didn’t walk in with—a new insight, a skill you can actually use, a different perspective, a connection you hadn’t made before, or a little more trust in yourself.
