Great to meet you!

Greetings.

Taking first steps towards therapy is a brave decision and I'm glad you're here. In my practice I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to help you navigate life's challenges.

I'm a LCSW and I received my master's degree at Our Lady of the Lakes University in San Antonio, TX.

I specialize in anxiety, depression, and Christian counseling, however there are other areas of specialties I engage with individuals.

My approach to therapy

Clients often describe my style as warm, grounded, and collaborative. My approach is integrative: I draw from Faith-informed Care to help you connect your spiritual beliefs with your psychological well-being, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you spot and shift unhelpful thought patterns, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to connect you with your values, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) to build present-moment awareness. When trauma is part of your story, Trauma-Focused CBT and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) let us work at a pace that feels safe. Everything is shaped around you as a whole person: your mental health, your relationships, and your history.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a 60-minute conversation focused entirely on you. We will talk about what

brought you here, what you have tried before, and what you most want to change. I will ask

questions, but you set the pace. Together we will build a clear, personal set of goals rooted in

your life. Most clients leave that first session feeling heard, a little lighter, and ready to take the

next step.
