Great to meet you!

Originally from California, I now happily call Austin, Texas home. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of the Incarnate Word, my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Mary’s University, and I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision with a concentration in Neurofeedback Therapy.

Throughout my career, I have worked with clients ranging from 4 to 90 years old in nonprofit organizations, private practice, and correctional facilities. These diverse experiences have strengthened my ability to meet each client where they are and tailor therapy to their unique needs.

I believe that therapy is built on a foundation of trust, authenticity, and collaboration. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, supported, and empowered. I value the relationships I build with my clients and consider it a privilege to walk alongside them as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while integrating other therapeutic approaches based on each client’s unique needs, goals, and strengths. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, so treatment is always personalized.

Rather than telling you what to do, I work alongside you to better understand the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we’ll develop practical tools to help you navigate challenges with greater confidence, resilience, and self-compassion.

I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel safe, understood, and empowered. My role is to provide guidance, support, and honest feedback while helping you build the insight and skills needed to create lasting change and live a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, so my goal is to make your first session as comfortable and welcoming as possible. Our initial session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship.

We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your personal history, identify your strengths, and talk about the goals you hope to accomplish. I’ll also answer any questions you have about the therapy process so you know what to expect moving forward.

Most importantly, there is no pressure to share everything at once. Therapy moves at your pace, and I want you to feel safe, respected, and heard from the very beginning. By the end of our first session, we’ll have a clearer understanding of your needs and begin developing a plan that supports your goals and sets the foundation for meaningful progress.
