Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Alexis Hatch (she/her), a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). Originally from Chicago, I strive to create a warm, supportive, and down-to-earth space where clients feel comfortable showing up exactly as they are.

I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, burnout, life transitions, identity exploration, and relationship challenges. Many of my clients are high-achieving individuals who feel overwhelmed by overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, low self-esteem, or the pressure to have everything figured out. Together, we'll work toward building self-awareness, strengthening emotional resilience, creating healthier boundaries, and developing practical tools that support lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide a supportive space where you can explore your experiences, gain insight, and develop practical tools for lasting change.

I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and nervous system regulation techniques to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and physical responses to stress. Together, we'll work to identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck while building healthier ways of coping, communicating, and relating to yourself and others. I believe lasting change happens when we understand both our thoughts and our nervous system.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and it's completely normal to feel nervous. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can show up just as you are—there's no pressure to have everything figured out.

During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another, exploring what brings you to therapy, and discussing your goals, challenges, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I'll also answer any questions you have about the therapy process so you feel comfortable moving forward.

By the end of our session, my hope is that you'll feel heard, supported, and leave with a clearer understanding of where we can begin. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we'll work together to create a plan that feels meaningful, practical, and tailored to your unique needs.

Whether you're coming to therapy for the first time or returning after a break, my hope is that each session leaves you feeling a little more understood, a little more empowered, and a little more connected to yourself.
