Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming when you're carrying anxiety, grief, trauma, self-doubt, or questions about who you are and where you're headed. Therapy can offer a space to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and reconnect with yourself.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and integrative therapist with experience supporting adults navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, identity exploration, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and generational wounds. I earned my bachelor's degree in Sociology from Florida International University and my Master of Social Work from Columbia University.

As a first-generation Caribbean American, I understand the importance of culture, community, spirituality, and lived experience in the healing process. I strive to create a space where you can show up as your full self and explore the experiences, relationships, and systems that have shaped you.

My work is grounded in compassion, affirmation, and cultural responsiveness. I believe therapy should support not only healing from what has happened to you, but also help you reconnect with who you are and what matters most to you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, integrative, and rooted in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. Together, we'll explore your story, identify patterns that may no longer serve you, and develop tools to help you navigate what you're experiencing with greater self-awareness and confidence.

I draw from narrative, somatic, mindfulness-based, expressive, and other trauma-informed approaches, tailoring our work to your needs, goals, and comfort level. I’m particularly interested in helping clients understand how their experiences, relationships, culture, and family histories may shape the way they see themselves and move through the world.

Therapy with me is not about "fixing" you. It is about creating space to understand yourself more deeply, strengthen your coping skills, process difficult experiences, and cultivate greater self-trust, resilience, purpose, and joy.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin creating a foundation for our work together. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you've been experiencing, and what you'd like support with. I'll also ask questions about your history, relationships, strengths, and current circumstances so I can better understand the context of what you're navigating.

You don't need to have everything figured out before we meet. You can come as you are, even if you're unsure where to begin or what you need. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive for you.

Most importantly, I want your first session to feel like a space where you can be seen, heard, and respected. We'll begin identifying goals for therapy together and discuss how I can best support you moving forward.
