Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can be a big step, and you don’t have to do it alone. I believe everyone deserves a supportive space to be themselves and work through life’s challenges.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience helping adolescents, adults, and older adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, grief, life transitions, family conflict, serious mental illness, and developmental and intellectual disabilities. I’ve supported people facing both everyday stress and more complex mental health concerns.

Therapy isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about gaining insight, building resilience, and creating meaningful change at a pace that feels right. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply need extra support, I’m here to help.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe meaningful progress happens when clients feel safe, respected, and actively involved in their treatment.

I draw from a strengths-based and trauma-informed perspective, tailoring therapy to each person’s unique needs and goals. Depending on the client, I may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and supportive interventions to help build insight, improve coping skills, and support practical change.

I have experience working with a wide range of concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety, addiction, family conflict, psychotic disorders, and developmental or intellectual disabilities. I also support clients through grief, stress, and major life transitions.

My goal is to meet clients where they are, help them better understand themselves, and support them in building a more stable, meaningful, and empowered life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive space where we begin building a sense of trust and understanding. I’ll spend time getting to know you—what brought you to therapy, what you’re currently struggling with, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

We’ll also talk about your history as needed, but at a pace that feels comfortable for you. There is no pressure to share everything at once. My goal is to help you feel safe, heard, and respected from the very beginning.

Together, we will begin identifying your goals for therapy and discuss what support might look like moving forward. By the end of the first session, many clients leave with a clearer sense of direction and what we will focus on in future sessions.

Most importantly, the first session is about connection—making sure you feel comfortable and that therapy is a good fit for you.
