Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C). I specialize in helping young children and their families navigate behavioral challenges, anxiety, and emotional regulation, as well as supporting parents during pregnancy and the postpartum period.

With over seven years of experience using evidence-based approaches, I focus on helping families create meaningful, lasting change. My work is especially helpful for parents of children ages 2–9 who are experiencing tantrums, defiance, difficulty listening, or anxiety and fears.

My approach is warm and collaborative. For parent child sessions, I use a unique live parent coaching model, where you receive real-time guidance during sessions so you can learn exactly how to respond to your child in challenging moments. This hands-on support helps you feel more confident, reduce daily stress, and build a stronger, more connected relationship with your child.

I also support parents’ mental health, including postpartum depression, anxiety, and the emotional adjustment to parenthood. I understand how overwhelming this stage can feel, and I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can focus on your well-being while gaining tools that fit into your real life.

My goal is to help you feel calmer, more confident, and supported—so both you and your child can thrive.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I specialize in helping parents navigate child behavior challenges and childhood anxiety while building stronger, more connected parent-child relationships.

Many of the families I work with come in feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or unsure how to respond to their child’s behavior. Together, we focus on practical, research-supported strategies that help reduce challenging behaviors, support emotional regulation, and increase your confidence in setting healthy, consistent limits.

A key part of my approach is live parent coaching, where you receive real-time guidance during sessions so you can learn exactly how to respond in the moment. This hands-on, skills-based model helps you feel more confident, create calmer routines at home, and see meaningful progress more quickly.

I also support parents during pregnancy and the postpartum period who may be experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, or difficulty adjusting to parenthood. Our work creates space for you to process your experience while building coping tools that fit into your daily life.

Whether you’re seeking support for your child or navigating the transition into parenthood, my goal is to help you feel understood, empowered, and equipped with tools that lead to lasting change for your family.

What you can expect from me

Many parents reach out feeling overwhelmed by their child’s behavior or anxiety, while others may be navigating the emotional ups and downs of pregnancy or the postpartum period. Wherever you’re starting, our first session is designed to help you feel supported, understood, and clear on next steps.

In our initial session, we’ll talk through what’s been most challenging, what you’ve already tried, and what you’re hoping will change. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your child’s behavior, your parenting style, and your family’s unique dynamics.

From there, we’ll begin identifying practical, evidence-based strategies you can start using right away—whether that’s managing challenging behaviors, supporting your child’s anxiety, or coping with stress and emotional overwhelm during pregnancy or postpartum.

You’ll also leave with a clear sense of how we’ll work together moving forward, including a personalized plan tailored to your goals.

My goal is that you walk away from your first session feeling more confident, supported, and equipped with tools that create meaningful change for you and your family
