Great to meet you!

  1. Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a deep passion for helping individuals navigate life's challenges, heal from setbacks, and build fulfilling futures. My perspective is shaped by a unique combination of clinical training and lived experience: I grew up as a Navy brat, supported my family as an Army spouse, and served firsthand as a veteran of the Army Reserve. I understand the weight of resilience, transition, and the particular challenges that military life brings — and I carry that understanding into every therapeutic relationship. I work with children, teens, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use recovery, and major life transitions. No matter where you are on your path, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel truly heard and empowered to create lasting change.

My approach to therapy

  1. My approach is compassionate, adaptive, and tailored to you. I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), selecting the tools that best fit your goals and where you are in your journey. Whether we are working through anxiety, trauma, substance use recovery, or a major life transition, I focus on practical strategies that translate into real change outside of the therapy room. My goal is to help you build resilience, develop healthier patterns, and move forward with clarity and confidence.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation, not a checklist. I will start by getting to know you: what brings you here, what has felt hardest, and what you are hoping might feel different. There is no pressure to have everything figured out or to share more than you are ready to. By the end of our first session, we will have a clearer sense of what you are working with and begin mapping out a path forward that feels realistic and right for you.
