Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a Masters in Social Work from the University of South Carolina. I work with people of all ages, sexuality, genders, and backgrounds. I particularly enjoy working with children. I have experience working with clients who suffer from self-esteem concerns, suicidal ideations, self-harming tendencies, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. If you are willing to seek the help, I'm here to help.

A bit about my approach to therapy

With all that’s going on in the world today it’s easy to become overwhelmed, and it can help to talk with someone outside of your circle. Everyone deserves to feel at peace and confident in their own lives. I focus on using CBT and psychoeducational approaches to help my clients, and will work with clients to identify alternative approaches as needed.

What you can expect from our first session

I feel the client-clinician relationship is an important aspect of therapy. Opening up to someone to work on your biggest concerns is difficult if you don't trust that person. I like to get to know my client's concerns, and lived experiences as these contribute to who we are. Clients should leave session feeling in control of their therapeutic experience, and feeling heard.
