Great to meet you!

Licensed in NY, NJ and CT, in the field for over 10 years. My journey to becoming a therapist began with my own experiences navigating depression, anxiety, loss and complex family dynamics. I started my career as a substance abuse counselor at an intensive outpatient program in Harlem, NY; where I learned to create nonjudgmental, grounding spaces for clients working through current struggles and past traumas.

Since then, I've gained diverse experience in children and family services, ACT teams, and private practice. This variety, combined with my personal healing journey, has ignited my passion for supporting adults who want to reconnect with their inner compass—whether they're rediscovering it or finding it for the first time.

I'm here to walk alongside you as you navigate your path toward healing and self-discovery.

My approach to therapy

Our first session or two will focus on understanding your history and current situation. After that, sessions are open and present-focused—even when we explore past events, I'll help you connect with what you're feeling, thinking, and experiencing right now.

I believe in treating the whole person, helping you integrate all parts of yourself, including those that carry judgment or pain. I specialize in grief and bereavement, supporting clients through both death-related losses and other significant life transitions and losses. While I don't typically assign homework, I may occasionally suggest reflecting on our work between sessions.

I'm an interactive therapist who values your feedback and collaboration. I work best with people who are open to change, willing to be vulnerable, and committed to their growth journey.

What you can expect from me

In our work together, you can expect to develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your patterns, along with practical tools for navigating life's challenges. I create a safe, honest environment where you'll feel truly heard and understood—if I'm ever unclear about something you're sharing, I'll ask for clarification because your voice matters.

My clients typically gain stronger self-awareness, improved emotional regulation, and clearer personal boundaries. We'll work together to enhance your self-care practices and find authentic ways for you to express yourself. Whether you're processing grief, pet loss, managing anxiety and depression, or working through complex life transitions, you'll leave sessions feeling more grounded and empowered.

I'm committed to helping you build the skills and inner compass needed to navigate both current challenges and future obstacles with greater confidence and self-compassion.
