Alexis holds a Master's degree in Psychological Counseling from the University of Miami. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Nova Southeastern University. She has extensive experience working with individuals of all ages, including children (7+). She has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds and has dealt with various psychopathologies & life concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, familial conflict, relationships, career counseling, and bereavement.

Alexis practices from a Cognitive-behavioral and Dialectical behavioral orientation, which allows her to provide effective therapeutic interventions. In addition, she is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, which further enhances her ability to address trauma-related concerns. Clients can expect a safe and confidential space to express their thoughts, emotions, and concerns without judgment.
