Alexis Rosendo

I'm Alexis and I am proud to be a Christian mental health clinician and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I have a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a MA in Christian Pastoral Counseling with over 5 years in the field. As a clinican, I am experienced in working with every age group (age 4+) of individuals, couples and families over the span of mental health concerns including clinical symptoms, relational distress, emotional disturbance, and behavioral adjustment. While my expertise is diverse, my specialty areas are marriage, divorce, and parenting coaching. I also take joy in working with clients on faith and spirituality.

I am competent to work with those who are interested in integrating their personal faith with their mental health journey, and I also successfully welcome those who do not ascribe to any faith tradition and/or those who do not wish to integrate spirituality. Either way, I aptly challenge clients to courageously explore identity, truth, values, and patterns. We will uncover the stuck processes and distorted cognitions that no longer serve you, find a replacement that is in line with your values, and set reasonable yet empowering goals.

The first session is always easy. You don't have to worry about getting too deep into any one topic. Instead, the first session is about making sure it is a good fit, giving you the space to tell me anything you want me to know, and making sure we can clarify what you are hoping to get out of counseling so I can confirm that your goals are something I can commit to partnering on.
