Great to meet you!

With 8 years of experience in various mental health settings, I bring a grounded perspective to my work as a therapist. My journey began when I was 17, giving me a broad understanding of care across different environments, including therapeutic after-school programs, inpatient treatment, residential programs, and mobile crisis intervention, before focusing on outpatient therapy.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology at UMASS Dartmouth and my Master's degree with a trauma specialization from Simmons University. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with individuals across the lifespan—from young children and adolescents to adults and older adults.

My areas of specialization are diverse and include trauma, anxiety disorders, depression and bipolar disorders, psychosis, and addressing suicidal ideation and self-injurious behaviors. I also have extensive experience supporting clients with relationship and domestic violence issues, family difficulties, and ADHD. My goal is to create a safe and understanding space where clients can explore their challenges and discover pathways to healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

I believe that every client comes into therapy with a unique set of strengths, experiences, and inner resources that can be used to navigate life’s challenges. My approach focuses on helping clients recognize and build on those strengths, empowering them to use what they already possess to create meaningful change.

I view my role as both an advocate and a supportive guide throughout the therapeutic process. At the same time, I firmly believe that clients are the experts on their own lives. Therapy is a collaborative space where your insight and lived experience are valued and centered.

I strive to create an empathetic, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and understood. While I offer compassion and support, I also gently challenge clients when needed, encouraging growth and helping them stay accountable to their goals.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to focus on getting to know one another and beginning to build a comfortable, supportive connection. During this time, I will gather some background information to better understand what brings you to therapy, including your experiences, concerns, and any relevant history.

We will also begin identifying goals you would like to work toward, so we can create a shared direction for our work together. This session is a chance for you to ask questions, share at your own pace, and start shaping what you want your therapy experience to look like.
