Great to meet you!

I hold a Masters in Marriage, Family, Child Counseling from San Francisco State University. I specialize in self-esteem and working with attachment-related trauma, which is sometimes referred to as complex trauma or inner child wounding. Complex trauma can often look like anxiety, depression, unhealthy patterns, or a cycle of unfulfilling relationships.

My approach to therapy

I create a warm and nonjudgmental therapeutic space that is client-driven and empowerment-centered. I utilize interventions grounded in attachment-based, holistic, somatic, and person-centered modalities. I utilize a number of tools (somatic, nervous system, inner child), but I believe the therapeutic relationship is the most important for creating lasting change.

What you can expect from me

I help you connect with your inner world (feelings, values, and needs) and explore how past experiences have shaped who you are. Through the safety of a compassionate and nurturing therapeutic relationship, we'll get curious about what is holding you back, explore any unhelpful patterns or relationships you may be stuck in, define what is important to you, and start trying new ways of coping.
