Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience working with teens and adults across a range of mental health and substance use settings. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community, offering an affirming and compassionate space to explore identity, process trauma, and navigate challenges such as depression and anxiety.

I believe therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and grounded in respect. My approach is centered on meeting you where you are, honoring your unique experiences, and working together to build insight, resilience, and meaningful coping tools. Having worked at all levels of care in both mental health and drug and alcohol treatment, I bring a well-rounded and thoughtful perspective to the therapeutic process.

What I love most about this work is witnessing growth—whether that looks like celebrating significant progress or simply holding space through life’s more difficult moments. I am committed to walking alongside you as you move toward greater self-understanding, healing, and well-being.

My approach to therapy

I believe every client deserves therapy that is thoughtfully tailored to their unique needs. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing, and I view therapy as a collaborative process where we work together to identify your goals and move toward them at a pace that feels supportive and manageable. I take a person-centered, strengths-based approach, emphasizing your resilience, lived experiences, and inherent capacity for growth. My role is to provide a safe, affirming space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered as we navigate challenges and build meaningful, lasting change together.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a sense of safety and trust. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping to work on, and any questions or concerns you may have. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for—we’ll move at your pace.

I’ll also review confidentiality and how therapy works, and together we’ll begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you. My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and supported from the very first session.
