Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome! I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. My background in nursing has given me experience caring for individuals across a variety of settings, helping me understand the complex relationship between mental and physical health.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma-related conditions, stress, life transitions, and other mental health concerns. My approach is collaborative and patient-centered. I believe the best treatment plans are developed together, taking into account your unique experiences, goals, and preferences.

I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive care in a welcoming, judgment-free environment. Whether you’re seeking treatment for a new concern or looking to optimize an existing treatment plan, my goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered in your mental health journey.

I strive to create a safe space where clients can openly discuss their challenges and work toward meaningful, lasting improvement in their well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. I believe that successful treatment begins with building a strong therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, respected, and involved in decisions about their care.

I take time to understand each client’s unique experiences, symptoms, strengths, and goals before developing an individualized treatment plan. While medication management is an important part of my practice, I also emphasize lifestyle factors, coping skills, and overall wellness as part of a comprehensive approach to mental health.

I work with adults experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma-related disorders, and stress related to life transitions. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly discuss their concerns and feel empowered throughout the treatment process.

I value open communication, education, and shared decision-making, helping clients understand their treatment options so they can make informed choices about their mental health care.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my primary goal is to get to know you and gain a thorough understanding of your concerns, symptoms, history, and treatment goals. We will discuss what brings you to treatment, your mental health and medical background, any previous experiences with therapy or medications, and how your symptoms are affecting your daily life.

I strive to create a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you can feel comfortable sharing your experiences at your own pace. The first appointment is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether I am a good fit for your needs.

By the end of the session, we will work together to develop an initial treatment plan tailored to your goals. This may include diagnostic clarification, medication recommendations if appropriate, education about your symptoms, and a discussion of next steps. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer path forward in your mental health journey.
