Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Dr. Aleyah Yasin and I am a LMFT in Florida. I earned my M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy and my Ph.D. in Family Therapy and I specialize in family systems and relationship dynamics. My goal is to assist in alleviating the atmospheric stressful tension that builds during the daily encounters occurring at home, work and or school settings that influences issues connected to mental health and family relationship problems.

My approach to therapy

As a Solution Focused Therapist, I believe that my greatest strengths as a provider is my optimism, creativity, and goal oriented perspective on life circumstances . I implement art and play therapy techniques in my therapy sessions to help my clients in expressing their feelings and emotions in open minded and respectful manner.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, I will explain to my clients how I work with clients to help them feel comfortable in their process of working through their mental health, relational, and family related issues. I will stress the importance of being "real" and respectful towards my clients as a way to help them feel understood and safe in their theraputic process. In addition, I will use the time to get to know clients, identify their issues, and develop a game plan as to how to help clients regarding their treatment and scheduling times for their next session.
