Great to meet you!

Hi,

As a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over seven years of clinical experience, I specialize in the evaluation and treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, and other mental health concerns.

Prior to becoming a PMHNP, I worked as a psychiatric registered nurse at respected medical centers including Hackensack Meridian Health, RWJ Barnabas Health, and Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, where I provided care in voluntary and involuntary psychiatric units serving both adult and pediatric populations.

In these high-acuity hospital settings, I conducted comprehensive mental health and medical assessments, supported crisis stabilization, administered and monitored psychiatric medications, and collaborated closely with multidisciplinary treatment teams. My experience includes working with patients experiencing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and other complex psychiatric conditions, including individuals admitted under involuntary mental health holds.

These experiences in leading healthcare systems have shaped my patient-centered approach to care. I focus on thorough psychiatric evaluation, evidence-based medication management, and collaborative treatment planning tailored to each patient’s individual needs.

My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered as we work together toward improved mental health and long-term wellness.

My approach to therapy

Moreover, my approach is collaborative and patient-centered, focusing on comprehensive assessment, thoughtful medication management, and individualized treatment planning to support both symptom relief and long-term wellness.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what you’re going through. We’ll talk about your current concerns, symptoms, personal history, and what you hope to gain from treatment. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace.

You don’t need to prepare anything in advance or have everything figured out. I will guide the conversation and ask questions to better understand your experiences, while also making sure you have time to ask questions of your own.

We will discuss possible treatment options, which may include medication, lifestyle strategies, or other supports tailored to your needs. This is a collaborative process, and your comfort and goals are always the priority.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer direction and a plan for moving forward.
