Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) with over seven years of experience supporting individuals through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. My clinical background is rooted in crisis intervention work, which has given me a deep, practical understanding of how people cope under pressure. I earned my Master of Social Work from Fordham University in 2021 and hold active LCSW licensure. Today, my practice focuses on helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, and occupational burnout. Many of my clients are high-functioning professionals who are exhausted, overwhelmed, or quietly struggling despite appearing to have it all together on the outside. I bring both clinical expertise and lived understanding of high-stakes, high-demand environments to this work — helping clients move from surviving to actually feeling like themselves again.

My approach to therapy

My clinical approach draws on evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care, tailored to each client’s needs and pace. I use strength based interventions, working collaboratively with clients to identify coping skills and set meaningful goals. I view the client as the expert on their own life, and myself as a supportive guide along the way. My style is direct yet curious, and my practice is grounded in unconditional positive regard and a non-judgemental stance.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about creating a foundation — for me to understand you, and for you to get a feel for whether we’re a good fit. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you to therapy now, relevant history, and what you’re hoping will be different in your life as a result of our work together. This isn’t an interrogation; it’s a conversation, and you’re welcome to share at whatever pace feels comfortable.

I aim to create a space that feels direct and honest, but never judgmental. You won’t get platitudes from me — you’ll get someone who listens closely, asks thoughtful questions, and treats you as the expert on your own life. My job is to bring clinical tools and an outside perspective; yours is to bring your lived experience.

By the end of our first session, my goal is for us to walk away with:

• A shared understanding of what’s bringing you to therapy and what’s been hardest lately

• An initial sense of your goals — whether that’s reducing anxiety, addressing burnout, improving mood, or something less defined yet

• A collaborative starting point for treatment, which may include early coping strategies you can use right away

• A clear sense of how we’ll work together going forward, including frequency and approach
