I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Dominican University. Over the years, I've worked with adolescents and adults in both community mental health and private practice. My work focuses on anxiety, relationship challenges, body image concerns, life transitions, and helping clients better understand the patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I believe we're all continually evolving, and I strive to bring warmth, curiosity, and authenticity into every session.
I tailor therapy to each person because no two clients are the same. Some sessions focus on understanding long-standing patterns, while others center on what's happening in your life right now. I also believe there's room for humor in therapy, and when it feels right, it can make difficult conversations a little lighter and easier to navigate.
The first session is really a conversation. I'll ask questions to better understand what's bringing you in, what's been challenging, and what you're hoping will be different. It's also your chance to get a feel for my style and decide whether working together feels like the right fit.
