Great to meet you!

I am experienced in discussing religious trauma and patterns of distress to discover who you were, are, and want to become. I am a sex-positive, anti-oppressive therapist who focuses on trauma-informed methods when exploring identities. All identities are welcome and this includes sex workers, transhumans, polyamorous folx, kink/BDSM explorers, and questioning individuals. My therapeutic methods center around DBT, talk therapy, solution-focused therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas who focuses on assisting clients with finding empowerment/acceptance in their identities while working through past traumas. My specializations are in multiple areas such as the disabled, neurodiverse, and LGBTQIA+ communities.

What you can expect from our first session

I’m a queer, disabled therapist with 36 years of lived experience. I feel my neuromuscular disability has given me the ability to adapt to societal pressures and gives me a unique perspective on client care. I take pride in showing others how to successfully navigate a system that is not made for people with disabilities; I enjoy learning about your own story while building a safe space for you to discuss your frustrations with living in a world that is often not made for this community.
