Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) and have been practicing since 2011. I work exclusively with adults and specialize in treating depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma. Over the years, I’ve supported individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, helping them navigate life transitions, emotional distress, and long-standing patterns that can feel difficult to shift.

My clinical work is grounded in strong therapeutic relationships — I believe that healing begins when you feel truly heard and understood. Clients often describe me as warm, authentic, and easy to talk to, while also appreciating my honest, straightforward approach.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is primarily psychodynamic, which means we’ll work together to explore how your past experiences, early relationships, and unconscious patterns influence your current emotional life and behavior. I believe insight leads to change, and that therapy is most effective when it helps you connect the dots between your past and present in a safe, nonjudgmental space.

At the same time, I tailor each session to your specific needs — incorporating practical strategies when helpful and always moving at a pace that feels right for you. Therapy with me is collaborative, relational, and grounded in mutual respect.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients often leave sessions with greater clarity, emotional insight, and a deeper understanding of themselves. You can expect to feel supported and challenged in ways that promote growth — whether that means identifying unhelpful patterns, learning how to cope with distress, or reconnecting with your own values and inner strengths.

Over time, many clients report feeling more confident, self-aware, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
