Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with experience providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to adults. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, mood disorders, sleep concerns, and other mental health challenges.

I understand that reaching out for mental health care can feel overwhelming, and I strive to create a welcoming, supportive environment where you feel heard and respected.

My goal is to help you better understand what you’re experiencing and work together to develop a treatment plan that fits your individual needs, goals, and preferences.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and individualized. I take time to understand your symptoms as well as the experiences, stressors, medical history, and other factors that may be affecting your mental health. Because symptoms can overlap between different conditions, I believe in taking a comprehensive approach rather than rushing to a diagnosis.

When medication is appropriate, we’ll discuss your options, including potential benefits, risks, and alternatives, so you can make informed decisions about your care. I also incorporate education, supportive interventions, healthy lifestyle strategies, and therapy recommendations when appropriate.

My goal is for you to feel comfortable asking questions and actively involved in your treatment.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my focus is on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to care. We’ll talk about your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, medications, life experiences, and the goals you hope to achieve through treatment. I want you to feel comfortable sharing your concerns in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment.

We’ll begin developing a treatment plan together based on your individual needs. Sometimes a diagnosis or treatment direction is clear after the first visit, while other concerns may require additional time and follow-up to fully understand. You’ll also have an opportunity to ask questions so that you feel informed and involved in decisions about your care.
