Great to meet you!

My name is Alicia Ali. I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over a decade of experience in my field. I enjoy working with people of color and members of the LGBTQ+ community as they navigate life’s challenges and rediscover their best self. I specialize in helping clients manage work/life stressors, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy starts with individualized care for each person I work with. I aim to help clients be mindful of the present moment and learn coping skills to get through their current stressors. As our work continues, I help clients unpack the past and develop an understanding of where their difficulties stem from. I found this approach helps my clients understand the root causes of their anxiety, depression, or other problematic behaviors and fosters long-term stability after therapy.

What you can expect from me

I am passionate about creating a feeling of warmth and invitation for those interested in therapy. By utilizing a down-to-earth, yet professional attitude, I make it as simple as possible to ease into therapy and create the change you are seeking. I enjoy using humor and employing an interactive approach grounded in theory that explores your past experiences and current stressors to provide a deeper level of understanding. I am ready to meet you where you are at and explore what matters to you.
