Great to meet you!

Welcome! I’m Alicia.

As an LCSW, I work with adolescents and adults, including gifted and high-intelligence individuals and those with ADHD. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, binge eating, or feeling stuck despite being capable and driven. I’m committed to providing culturally sensitive care and creating an inclusive, affirming space where you feel comfortable, supported, and able to be yourself.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to you. I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you build insight, increase emotional flexibility, and develop tools that support meaningful, lasting change. My background as a professional musician and Korean martial arts instructor allows me to integrate creativity, meditation, and mind-body awareness into the therapeutic process.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy, at a pace that feels comfortable to you.

I’ll ask a few questions to understand your experiences, and give you the opportunity to ask me anything as well. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard and more at ease about moving forward.
