Great to meet you!

I serve children, adolescents, young adults, and their families in addressing mental health concerns and life transitions.

I hold a master's in clinical mental health counseling and have been in the mental health field since 2016. PhD in Developmental Psych expected 2025

Experienced in treating adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, eating disorders/body image concerns, family dynamics, and healthy relationships.

I specialize in talk therapy and am trained in both DBT and CBT.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I look to be able to support individuals in finding relief when life is complicated. Rain in the desert can be a rare occurrence, one that often brings refresh and life to the ecosystem. This is why I chose to call my practice Desert Rain Counseling and Consulting. Therapy should be similar to finding rain in the desert. Therapy is supportive, teaches skills for managing stressors and life, and aids in reducing symptoms.

What you can expect from our first session

Building a relationship goes two ways. Therefore, I do not expect my clients to immediately trust me. The beginning of this therapeutic relationship leaves room for rapport building and identification of what may and may not work for each specific client.
