Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified PMHNP with over a decade of experience in trauma, emergency, and psychiatric nursing. Dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care, I employ a holistic and comprehensive approach to mental health and wellness. I not only focus on empowering individuals but also on the needs of families within the psychosocial dynamics and influencing factors in mental health. With experience in a wide variety of mental health disorders, I am passionate about fostering resilience, promoting well-being, and empowering individuals to achieve their mental health goals in a supportive and collaborative environment.

My approach to therapy

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, my approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and holistic. I believe mental health treatment works best when clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where individuals can openly explore their experiences, challenges, and goals without judgment.

My practice integrates evidence-based medication management with supportive and solution-focused therapeutic approaches. I work with clients to understand the biological, psychological, and social factors that influence mental health, and together we develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with each individual’s needs, values, and lifestyle. I emphasize education, empowerment, and practical coping strategies so clients feel confident and supported throughout their healing process.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a comprehensive and conversational evaluation. We will spend time discussing your current concerns, mental health history, medical background, lifestyle factors, and goals for treatment. My goal is to gain a full understanding of what you are experiencing while also allowing you the opportunity to ask questions and share what is most important to you.

By the end of the session, we will review initial impressions and discuss potential treatment options, which may include medication management, therapy strategies, lifestyle interventions, or referrals when appropriate. Together we will create a plan that feels realistic, supportive, and aligned with your goals.

Above all, my goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling understood, hopeful, and confident that they have a partner in their mental health journey.
