Great to meet you!
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hodges University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University. I have experience working in trauma-focused settings and have provided counseling services at the Center for Trauma Counseling. I also founded my private practice, Supportive Concepts LLC, where I continue serving individuals and families in the community.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy that helps individuals process and heal from trauma. While EMDR is widely known for treating trauma, it is also highly effective in addressing grief, anxiety, depression, and other distressing life experiences.
In addition to EMDR, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Play Therapy techniques. I work with children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating trauma, life transitions, anxiety, mood disorders, and relationship challenges.
