Great to meet you!

I enjoy working with my clients, especially watching them learn to feel more and more confident, minus the symptomology in their daily lives. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, who has been practicing for over 30 years. I am basically an eclectic therapist, which just means that I tailor my approach to meet the needs of each of my clients, ranging from behavioral/cognitive modification to utilizing a Freudian Approach.

My approach to therapy

I tend to listen to my clients very carefully and ask questions along the way, in order to gain a better understanding, of my client's situation. At times, I will interject, in order to provide feedback, that can help my clients to gain more insight into their situation. I also will provide my client with tools to help change negative behaviors into positive behaviors, as well as homework assignments, as needed.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to take away insight into their own behavior, a different way of viewing their circumstances, as well as suggestions on how to have a positive effect on their environment. I tend to provide small , yet beneficial homework assignments as well.
