Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm so glad you're here.

I bring 18 years of experience in education, having served as both a teacher and a school counselor. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside children and families during some of their most important developmental years. While I have extensive experience working with children, I also have a deep passion for supporting women and teens as they navigate life’s unique challenges.

My approach is warm, relational, and grounded in creating a safe space where you feel seen, heard, and supported. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and stress management—particularly for women who are balancing the many demands of life. Whether you’re a teen trying to make sense of overwhelming emotions, a child needing support and coping tools, or a woman carrying the weight of stress, I am here to help you find clarity, healing, and hope.

I believe in meeting each client where they are and tailoring support to fit their needs. My goal is to equip you with practical tools while also helping you build confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being.

You don’t have to do this alone—I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to counseling is grounded primarily in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I help clients identify unhelpful thinking patterns, understand how those patterns influence feelings and actions, and develop practical strategies to create healthier, more balanced ways of coping.

In session, I work collaboratively and at a pace that feels safe and manageable for the client. Therapy is structured but flexible—meaning we may set goals early on, but we also allow space for what feels most pressing in the moment. Clients can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where we work together to build insight and then translate that insight into real-life change.

I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, stress management, and life transitions, with a strong focus on children, teens and women.

Across all populations, my goal is to help clients move from feeling overwhelmed or stuck to feeling more equipped, grounded, and in control of their thoughts and responses. Therapy is both insight-oriented and skills-based, so clients leave sessions with tools they can actively use between sessions and long-term strategies for resilience.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming environment where you are invited to simply be yourself. My goal is to create a calm, safe space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace—without pressure or judgment. Building trust is important, so we will begin by getting to know one another and talking about what brings you to counseling.
