Great to meet you!

Over the past ten years, I have worked as a primary therapist in a variety of settings - assessment, residential treatment with adolescents and adults with comorbid diagnoses, and individual counseling. I utilize a strengths-based, trauma-competent multicultural framework. My passion lies in working with transition-age youth, people within the LGBTQIA2+ community, and first responders/professionals experiencing workplace trauma.

My approach to therapy

My clinical practice is based in a collaborative approach that emphasizes the mutualistic relationship between client and therapist. My theoretical orientation is a highly eclectic mixture of evidence-based modalities that emphasizes growth and self-acceptance.

What you can expect from me

The initial appointment consists of a semi-structured clinical interview. My goal is to deftly balance the need for obtaining historical information with identifying current needs, all while developing a rapport between that will benefit the ongoing therapy.

Subsequent sessions are determined by individual need and include psychoeducation and interpersonal processing. My goal is to facilitate greater sense of self-efficacy to help individuals create and maintain lasting changes in their lives.
