Great to meet you!

With over twenty years of experience in the mental health field, I bring both professional expertise and genuine life experience to my work. I am a Christian therapist who believes deeply that every person has inherent value and purpose. As a mother of five, including a child with a disability, I understand firsthand the complexities, exhaustion, and resilience that come with navigating life's challenges. I specialize in working with people with disabilities, individuals facing significant mental health concerns, anxiety, and self-harm. I am trained in DBT and have a particular passion for helping people get unstuck — moving out of patterns that feel impossible to break and into a life that feels more like their own.

My approach to therapy

I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused techniques, with a strong emphasis on your present life — where you are now and where you want to go. My style is person-centered and direct: I meet you where you are without judgment, and I'm honest with you in a way that's grounded and real. I'm relatable and down to earth, and I don't believe therapy has to feel stiff or clinical. My faith-informed perspective means I approach every person with the belief that growth and healing are always possible.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about you! Your story, your goals, and what brought you here. We'll talk openly about what's been weighing on you and start identifying what you most want to change or work through. I'll ask questions, listen closely, and together we'll begin mapping out a direction that feels right for you. You can expect me to be warm but straightforward - I won't sugarcoat things, but I'll always be in your corner. By the end of our first session, my hope is that you leave feeling heard, a little lighter, and with a sense that real progress is within reach.
