Great to meet you!

I believe effective mental health care starts with being heard. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), my goal for you is to provide a comprehensive evaluation that goes beyond symptom checklists—helping you understand what you're experiencing, why you're feeling the way you do, and what treatment options are available.

My approach to therapy

I believe the best care happens when we work together. I take the time to listen, understand your concerns, and help you identify clear treatment goals.

I use a "toolbox" approach to treatment, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Your treatment plan may include medication, therapy-based strategies, coping skills, lifestyle changes, or a combination of approaches based on your needs and goals.

I will explain your options, involve you in every treatment decision, and help you build the tools needed to improve your well-being. My goal is for you to leave each appointment feeling heard, informed, and confident about the next steps in your care.

What you can expect from me

Goals for Your First Appointment

  • Understand your concerns, symptoms, personal history, and previous treatment experiences.
  • Discuss your goals and what you hope to achieve through treatment.
  • Provide a supportive, judgment-free environment where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable asking questions.
  • Help you gain a better understanding of your symptoms and any potential diagnoses.
  • Develop a personalized treatment plan based on your needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Answer your questions and discuss available treatment options.

You do not need to have everything figured out before your first appointment. We will work together to better understand what you're experiencing and identify the best path forward.
