Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with several years of clinical experience across a variety of settings. I received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a Minor in Counseling from Ithaca College in 2014. I then went on to receive my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh and graduated in 2017. I have experience working with school aged children, adolescents and adults in community mental health, hospital social work, and outpatient mental health.

My approach to therapy

I have experience within the areas of trauma, anxiety, bereavement, case management, crisis intervention, grief, trauma, and depression. I incorporates aspects of the following methodologies into her counseling sessions: Cognitive behavioral therapy, crisis prevention and intervention models, mindfulness-based techniques and modalities, narrative therapy techniques, DBT, systems, solution focused techniques as well as strength based and person-centered approaches. I am also trained in EMDR.

What you can expect from me

I utilize therapy interventions based on an individual's needs and presenting concerns, meeting you where you are at in your life. I believe that it is important to understand one's environment and the impact of how a person perceives and interacts within it. My intent is to create a safe space for each client to feel heard, supported, and validated.
