Great to meet you!

"Hello, I am Alicia. I am a licensed professional counselor. I help adolescents and adults to navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and trauma. My approach is compassionate, through a cognitive-behavioral lens. My goal is to create a safe space to promote learning, growth, and healing.

My approach to therapy

I believe in the importance of the incorporation Carl Rogers' core conditions into a therapeutic alliance: empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard. My approach is person-centered.

What you can expect from me

This session will be informative, for both parties involved. We will clarify what our alliance will consist of (if there is to be one), as well as set goals. Theis session will be important in laying the foundation for a safe, healthy, and productive therapeutic alliance.
