Dedicated Nurse Practitioner (across the life span) with a desire to help people that suffer from mental health issues. My passion is to help and together we will develop a plan of care that is supportive to what each individual may need.
My approach involves engagement with my consumer. I need to hear and understand their area of need. Empathy and supportive care both help to foster an environment where healing can begin. My role as an advanced practice provider allows me to include medication management with adjunct therapy services.
A client can expect to take away that there is hope and there is no need to suffer in silence. Mental illness is real and is not shameful. If you get the appropriate help you can began to function and thrive.
