Great to meet you!

Welcome!

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor specializing in trauma, ADHD, and autism. I am a board-certified counselor and am also certified in each area (trauma, ADHD, autism). I have ADHD, as does one of my children. Another child and my husband are autistic. I have worked with all three specialties for several years.

My approach to therapy

I like to work as a partner, with you having the deciding vote on how we proceed. I am non-confrontational in my approach, use trauma-sensitive approaches, and I like to focus on strengths rather than on weaknesses when possible. I understand that your trust must be earned.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to feel listened to, understood, and respected. You can expect to gain new understanding of your issues that reduces overwhelm and empowers you, and to leave with skills and exercises to improve your quality of life and your ability to function. As much as possible, I want you to leave with hope that your situation can improve.
