Great to meet you!

Hi there! I'm Alicia, a Licensed Professional Counselor seeing clients in the state of Texas. I specialize in trauma, PTSD/CPTSD, LGBTQIA+ issues, and management of depression and anxiety.

I currently live in Chicago with two very important cats. Fellow nerds, geeks, and awkward queens, kings, and other royalty are accepted and encouraged!

A bit about my approach to therapy

I work from a warm, relational approach and believe that therapy should be shaped to each unique individual. This leaves room for flexibility and creativity as we work together to build skills, understanding, and resiliency. I try to balance a healthy respect for the therapeutic process with humor and understanding. I will meet you on your emotional ground during your sessions, wherever that happens to be that day. Basically, I'll be your clinical bestie (with great boundaries)!

What you can expect from our first session

Ultimately, we will work to identify and move towards your healing goals. But at the end of the day, I want you to at least leave your session feeling heard, seen, and validated.
