Great to meet you!

With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I have come to value the efforts to combine a client’s own strengths with techniques derived from several theoretical frameworks, to support progress towards that client’s individualized goals. I strive to create a collaborative relationship that encourages open dialogue and self-exploration, while fostering emotional well-being and resilience. My areas of expertise have been rooted in trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and interpersonal relationship dynamics. However, I do not prefer to follow an exact theoretical framework with most clients, as we are all complex humans that need more of an ebb and flow of interventions not isolated to one view. throughout my professional background I have worked extensively with individuals from youth to adults, struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders, as well as couples and families navigating communication issues and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered, compassionate, and grounded in meeting each person where they are. I draw on my training and experiences working with a wide variety of mental health conditions to tailor care to each client’s unique goals, challenges, and strengths.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a space where they feel heard, respected, and supported. My goal is to help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and leave sessions with practical tools and greater confidence in managing life’s challenges.
