Great to meet you!

My name is Alicia Smith, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Kansas and Missouri.

I specialize in working with youth & young adults who are navigating trauma, chronic stress, and difficult life transitions. Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward, and my goal is to offer a space where they can feel supported, understood, and empowered

My approach to therapy

I help by using a trauma‐informed, strengths‐based, and collaborative approach. I draw from evidence‐based practices while honoring each person’s unique story and cultural background. I work alongside my clients to help them build coping skills, process painful experiences, and develop a stronger sense of self. My approach is gentle but intentional, always centered on safety, trust, and growth.

What you can expect from me

In our first few sessions, you can expect a warm, steady, and non‐judgmental environment. We’ll take time to get to know each other, explore what brings you to therapy, and identify what you want to work toward. I move at your pace, and I’ll help you build practical tools to manage stress while we begin the deeper work of healing.
