Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Alicia Villa, a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor providing therapy in English and Spanish. I offer a warm, culturally responsive, and collaborative approach, helping adolescents and adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, grief, relationship challenges, and stress.

As a first-generation Mexican American, I understand the importance of culture, family, faith, and identity in the healing process. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move toward lasting growth and healing.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client's unique needs. I primarily use a psychodynamic approach to help clients understand how past experiences and relationships shape their current emotions, behaviors, and patterns. I also have training and experience in play therapy, allowing me to support children through developmentally appropriate, evidence-based interventions.

I have a passion for working with women, adolescents, and young adults as they navigate identity development, cultural identity, life transitions, relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and stress. As a bilingual therapist, I provide culturally responsive care and enjoy helping clients explore how culture, family, and lived experiences shape who they are. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to grow.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. We'll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brought you to therapy, exploring your history, strengths, and current challenges, and identifying what you hope to gain from our work together.

I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental, and culturally responsive environment where you can be yourself. Together, we'll begin developing goals that reflect your values and needs, and we'll create a path toward meaningful, lasting growth at a pace that feels right for you.
