Great to meet you!

With over 25 years of experience in the field, I bring a deep commitment to supporting individuals navigating life’s most challenging roles. I earned my BSW from Baylor University and my MSW from Smith College School for Social Work in Massachusetts. My passion lies in "helping the helpers"—caregivers, healthcare professionals, therapists, educators, and others in high-stress professions who often put others' needs before their own. I provide a compassionate space to work through stress management, PTSD, relationship concerns, trauma, compassion fatigue, and burnout. I believe in the power of therapy to restore balance and foster resilience, and I strive to help clients reconnect with their purpose while prioritizing their own well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I believe that each person’s story is unique, and I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. Drawing from modalities such as psychodynamic therapy, cognitive processing therapy (CPT) and mindfulness-based strategies, I tailor each session to meet the individual needs and goals of my clients. Whether we are addressing trauma, navigating relationship dynamics, or managing the demands of caregiving and professional stress, I work alongside clients to build insight, develop practical tools, and foster lasting change. Healing is not one-size-fits-all, and I honor the strength it takes to show up and do the work.

What you can expect from me

Clients who work with me can expect to leave sessions feeling more grounded, supported, and equipped to face the challenges in their lives. Together, we will identify patterns, explore root causes, and develop practical strategies that promote resilience and self-awareness. My goal is to help clients reconnect with their strengths, set healthy boundaries, and cultivate a greater sense of balance and purpose. Whether you're coping with trauma, burnout, or ongoing stress, you’ll find our work focused on meaningful growth, emotional clarity, and sustainable change. Above all, you can expect a therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and a deep respect for your journey.
