Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with more than five years of experience as a PMHNP and 30 years in nursing. I support adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, mood changes, stress, and difficult life transitions. My extensive nursing background helps me recognize the connection between emotional health, physical health, and everyday life. I welcome each client with compassion, respect, and genuine curiosity about their story.

My approach to therapy

I look beyond symptoms to understand the whole person, including medical concerns, relationships, lifestyle, culture, and personal strengths. I explain treatment options in clear language so you can make informed decisions about your care. When appropriate, treatment may include medication management, education, supportive therapy, and practical coping strategies. My role is to provide clinical guidance while helping you recognize your strengths and move toward meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a comfortable conversation focused on understanding what brought you to care. We will review your concerns, history, medications, current challenges, and what you hope will improve. You will have time to ask questions without feeling rushed or judged. Before we finish, we will identify clear next steps and begin building a treatment plan that feels realistic for you.
