Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward therapy is an act of courage, and I'm glad you're here. I specialize in depression, substance use and addiction, family issues, women's issues, and chronic conditions, while also supporting adolescents, adults, and older adults navigating anxiety, stress, grief and loss, PTSD, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe exploring your experiences, building resilience, and discovering new ways to move forward. I believe meaningful healing begins when you feel truly understood, so I tailor therapy to your unique needs, strengths, and goals while helping you develop practical skills that create lasting, positive change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered, blending evidence-based care with genuine compassion. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), strength-based therapy, and mindfulness techniques to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building healthier coping strategies. Together, we'll focus on both the challenges you're facing today and the strengths you already possess, creating a treatment plan that reflects your personal goals and lived experiences. My aim is to help you feel more confident managing life's obstacles while fostering emotional growth, resilience, and overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

From our first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive environment where your story is heard without judgment. I'll take time to understand what has brought you to therapy, your personal history, your relationships, and the goals that matter most to you. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we'll work together to create a plan that feels meaningful and realistic for your life. My hope is that you'll leave each session feeling understood, empowered, and equipped with tools that help you continue making progress long after our conversation ends.
