Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual Spanish-speaking Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working alongside adolescents, adults, and older adults facing a variety of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. Throughout my career, I have supported individuals navigating anxiety, mild depression, life transitions, and both acute and long-term changes that can impact overall well-being and quality of life.

I strive to create a supportive, culturally responsive, and compassionate environment where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves in the language that feels most natural to them. My goal is to help individuals better understand their experiences, build effective coping skills, and navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and resilience. Together, we can work toward creating meaningful change, improving emotional well-being, and fostering a stronger sense of balance and fulfillment.

My approach to therapy

I strongly believe that therapy is a collaborative relationship where the therapist and client work together as partners in the healing process. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide support, guidance, and practical tools that help you navigate challenges and move toward your goals.

I work hand in hand with clients to identify solutions, develop healthy coping strategies, and build on their existing strengths. Whether you are facing anxiety, depression, life transitions, or other emotional challenges, I strive to empower you to better understand yourself and make choices that support your well-being.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I will take time to understand what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the process. We’ll explore your background, current stressors and challenges, support system, and the coping strategies you’ve used in the past. This helps me develop a comprehensive understanding of your experiences and identify areas where additional support may be helpful.

Together, we will begin establishing goals that feel meaningful and attainable, creating a roadmap for the work we do moving forward. Just as importantly, the first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. Finding the right therapist is an important part of the process, and I encourage you to use this time to determine whether I feel like the right fit for your needs and goals. My hope is that you leave the session feeling heard, supported, and more confident about your next steps.
