Great to meet you!

I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina in Columbia and have had the privilege of working with individuals across a wide range of treatment settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, hospice, psychiatric inpatient facilities, alcohol and drug treatment programs, and outpatient group mental health practices. These diverse experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the unique challenges people face throughout different stages of life and recovery. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, grief and loss, life transitions, substance use, stress, and emotional regulation. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move toward the life you want to live.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is not a one-size-fits-all experience. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your individual needs and goals. I integrate a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based interventions, Solution-Focused Therapy, Gottman Method techniques for couples, and other evidence-based modalities to help clients build practical skills, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another and discussing what brought you to therapy. I'll ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, relationships, strengths, and what you hope to gain from our work together. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about my approach and determine whether we're a good fit.

My goal is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. You don't need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin. Together, we'll identify your priorities, discuss your goals, and begin developing a treatment plan that is tailored to your unique needs. By the end of our first session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of how we'll work together and the next steps toward achieving meaningful, lasting change.
