If you are navigating anxiety, life transitions, depression, stress, and are looking for a place to have someone walk alongside you as you lighten the load and learn healthy coping skills you're in the right place. Therapy is a space where you can show up as yourself, explore what matters most to you, and develop practical tools to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and clarity.
I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. I have experience working with clients from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences, and look forward to working with you!
My approach to therapy is tailored to each individual client. There is no one size fits all approach, so I take pride in building strong rapport, creating personalized treatment goals, and utilizing counseling modalities that best meet each client's unique needs.
My experience ranges from individual and group therapy to working with teenagers and adults in a variety of settings, including partial hospitalization programs (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), alternative schools, and the juvenile justice system.
I have a particular interest in working with teenagers and young adults, individuals with neurodivergence such as inattentive ADHD, and those navigating cultural, identity, and life-transition challenges. I have experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds, including BIPOC individuals, immigrants, first-generation individuals, and those balancing multiple cultural influences. I also bring my own multicultural perspective as someone of German and Nigerian heritage.
Our first session is mostly a conversation. I'll ask about what brought you in, what's been going on, and what you're hoping for. You don't have to have it all figured out before we start. We'll begin wherever you are. By the end, you'll have a sense of how I work and whether this feels like a fit.
